This New Reese's Product Is Only Available for a Limited Time—Fans Are Swooning

Halloween is always a fun time to dress up, scare your friends, and collect all kinds of treats. But for my brothers and I, Halloween has always meant business. Sure, I would dress up in my sparkly princess costume, which I insisted on being for my first ten years of partying, but deep inside those sparkles was a sharp businesswoman who knew the minute negotiation meeting who was waiting for me.

At the end of the night, huddled in our warm home, my brothers and I would sprawl out on the living room floor, throw down our candy, and begin business negotiations. Two boxes of Milk Duds for your Skittles? Three Hershey bars for a Twix? We knew what we were doing, and we also knew what the golden prize was in those plastic pumpkin-lantern buckets: a pumpkin-shaped Reese's.

Yes, a classic Reese's Peanut Butter Cup would also work, but pumpkin shaped? It was the end of the game. The stakes were still high, even chores were online. All this for this coveted Reese's pumpkin that was far superior to the rest.

Needless to say, fit Reese's have a special place in my heart. They have always been my favorite treat, and over the years I have found myself hyper obsessed with these shapes. Of all the Reese shapes produced throughout the year, which one is Really the best? And by best, I mean which form of Reese's has the best peanut butter to chocolate ratio?

For the longest time, I thought it was the Easter egg, followed closely by the pumpkin. You get what you pay for. That was, of course, until I tried the newest Reese's shape, which is only available for a limited time: the Olympic medal.

How Reese's new Olympic medal, the Peanut Butter Cup, is going

While this new shape doesn't seem to have the highest ratio of peanut butter to chocolate (it's not a big fat circle like egg or pumpkin), I was shocked to find how wrong my assumption was. IMHO, Medal has by far the highest ratio of peanut butter, to the point where I honestly wondered if it was too much..

Apparently the Internet agrees with me. Fans on Reddit say the new Olympic medal is by far the best form. Some people think that the chocolate shell is thinner than usual, which is why the peanut butter proportion seems much higher. But am I complaining? Not.

What do you think? The Olympic medal is only available for a limited time during the Summer Olympics, so if you want to try it and see if this Reese's shape really has won gold, then you will have to catch one before they all disappear. Or, as one clever Reddit user notes, buy twenty bags and put them in your freezer to enjoy until the next Olympics.
