What is Elderflower Lemon Soda?

TJ's Lemon Elderflower Soda is a beautiful balance of sweetness and sparkle thanks to a combination of cold-pressed lemon juice, cane sugar and elderflower extract. Fresh elderflowers, which come from the same plant as elderberries, are the star ingredient in the famous St-Germain elderflower liqueur. This soda was primarily intended as a mixer.

Elderflower extract is fresh and floral, complementing the soda’s tart lemon notes. Its taste is sophisticated, especially when paired with the second ingredient: gin. The botanical notes in gin add a crisp, herbal note that’s perfect for sipping on a warm day.

How to Make a 2-Ingredient Elderflower Gin Cocktail

To make a cocktail, you will need:

  • 1 1/2 ounces gin
  • 1 can (8 ounces) TJ's lemon-elderflower soda
  • Lemon slices for garnish (optional)

Fill a cocktail glass with ice. If using lemon slices, place one inside the glass.

Add the gin, then the lemon-elderflower soda. For a stronger cocktail, use only half the can of soda.

Simple tip!

To make a large batch (four servings), combine six ounces of gin with four cans of TJ's Lemon Elderflower Soda in a large pitcher. Add ice before serving.
