The "Fantastic" $3.99 ALDI Freezer Find My Whole Family Loves

My husband and son are ice cream lovers, or as I call them, ice cream addicts. And they are both especially fond of all the delicious Sundae Shoppe treats I find at ALDI.

They were both absolutely delighted with my latest find at ALDI: Sundae Shoppe Ice Cream Bites.

What I Love About ALDI Sundae Shoppe Ice Cream Bites

These gorgeous babies come in a pack of 10 and cost $3.99. Each pack is one serving. Or, if you're a teenager, two packs count as one serving.

And oh, are they good! They come in two flavors: cookie dough and caramel. My husband, son, and I all prefer cookie dough, but my son's gym buddies Riley and Aiden said they preferred caramel. Clearly, you can't go wrong.

Simple recipes / ALDI

Cookie Dough Flavor features vanilla ice cream, sprinkled with cookie dough pieces, and coated in milk chocolate. Caramel Bites feature vanilla and caramel flavored ice cream, coated in milk chocolate, and topped with a cookie crumble.

Both flavors are so delicious that it's easy to see why ALDI labeled the packages as single serving, because it's hard to stop at just one or two bites. Every bite delivers a little bit of ice cream bliss.

How My Family Enjoys ALDI Frozen Bites

The bites are fantastic on their own as a snack or dessert, but if you feel like overdoing it, simply put half or the whole package in a bowl, top it with hot chocolate, whipped cream, and cookie pieces, and you've got yourself a sugar overload. I'm not saying who's tried this in my house, but I can confirm that it's a delicious dessert.

The only downside is that you either have to eat them immediately (which my son did on a trip home from ALDI) or place them in a freezer bag to transport and freeze ASAP. In hot weather, even with the air conditioning on in the car, they will melt if you don't transport them properly.

Since they come in a resealable bag, they're easy to open and eat if you're snacking on the go, which my son appreciates. He said they're perfectly portable and you don't have to worry about them melting if you eat them straight away.
