Is there a better summer party dip than a layered dip? I don’t think so. It’s flavorful, it’s colorful, and it’s irresistible. So when I saw a new 7-Layer Party Flatbread from Mama Cozzi, I had to try it.
What's so great about Mama Cozzi's 7-Layer Party Flatbread?
Like so many of Mama Cozzi's delicious flatbreads, this pizza-inspired treat can be found in ALDI's deli section, and a whole flatbread, which weighs over a pound, is just $6.99.
There are four servings per flatbread, or about eight 2-inch by 6-inch slices. Enough to feed four average people or one and a half teenagers, in my experience. I know this from experience.
If you love taco dips, you'll love this flatbread. It's like a dip, but in pizza form, and it's perfect for a party.
On top of the crusty flatbread base, it starts with a layer of cream cheese seasoned with taco seasoning, then shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese, diced black olives, green onions, tomatoes and jalapeños.
It's just like cooking your taco dip and dipping a warm, crispy breadstick in it. It's so good.

If you're having a party, grab one or two flatbreads and pop them in the oven at 400°F for 13 to 15 minutes. Since I have a convection oven, I bake them for about eight minutes at 400°F, and to make the crust extra crispy, I bake them on my already-hot pizza stone.
This pizza would also be fantastic if cooked on the grill. It would be best to grill it over indirect heat or on a pizza stone on the grill. In either case, I would check it after four minutes to see how it is coming out, as it would not be great to burn it.
If you are serving this flatbread as an appetizer, I recommend cutting it into 16 pieces, as a regular sized slice is too big for appetizers, unless the party is for teenagers only…in which case a regular sized slice is fine.
