Ingredients

Core Ingredients

  • One medium carrot, peeled and chopped—rich in beta-carotene, fiber and vitamin K.

  • One large orange, juiced—provides vitamin C, folate and hydration.

  • Half a ripe banana, peeled—offers potassium, vitamin B6 and natural sweetness.

  • Half a cup of water or coconut water—ensures optimal hydration and aids nutrient transport.

Optional Boosters

  • One teaspoon of flaxseeds, ground if possible—for omega-3s, additional fiber and lignans.

  • A pinch of turmeric or grated ginger—to enhance anti-inflammatory benefits and support circulation to the eyes.

Instructions

  • Prep Your Produce
Wash the carrot and orange thoroughly. Peel and chop the carrot into small chunks. Peel the orange, segment and remove seeds. Slice the banana into chunks.

  • Blend for Maximum Nutrient Release
In a high-powered blender, combine carrot, orange segments (or juice), banana pieces and water (or coconut water). Add flaxseeds or spices if using. Blend on high for 45–60 seconds, pausing to scrape down the sides, until smooth.

  • Strain (Optional)
For an ultra-silky drink, pour through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a glass, pressing out the pulp. Skip if you prefer extra fiber.

  • Serve Immediately
Drink fresh—ideally on an empty stomach in the morning to maximize absorption and hydration.
